As those who have been keeping a keen eye on the blog with know, Latour was named wine of the vintage in our recent Liv-ex En Primeur Survey. Below is a list of the top ten, as voted for by Liv-ex members.
But how do the survey results compare with the views of the major critics?
Below are the top ten wines of the vintage according to five different critics (although due to tied scores, most of the lists consist of more than ten wines).

By awarding points for a wine's ranking in each list, including the Liv-ex survey (10 points for a 1st place, 9 for a 2nd, and so on), we have also created a 'grand' top ten. Overall, the results are in step with our survey and Latour remains 'wine of the vintage' at number one. In total, seven of the survey's top ten wines appear on the table (along with Lafite, Eglise Clinet and Leoville Las Cases).
